Evaporative Air Cooler
User Manual
1. Forward
Thank you for choosing this evaporative air cooler. The cooler you purchased may look slightly different from the illustrations, but the operation is the same. For safe and correct use, please read this manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
2. Precautions
- Read this manual carefully and keep it for future use.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.
- Children must be supervised and must not play with the appliance.
- Make sure the fan is switched off and disconnected from the mains before removing any guard or panel.
- Unplug the cooler during filling, draining and cleaning.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified service agent.
- Keep the cooler away from any source of fire or open flame.
- The earth wire must be at least 1.5 mm² for safe grounding.
- The supply voltage should be within ±10 percent of the rated voltage. Continuous operation at too high or too low voltage can damage the cooler.
3. Working Principle
The evaporative air cooler lowers air temperature using water evaporation. A circulating pump draws water from the tank and distributes it evenly over the cooling pads. Warm air passes through the wet pads. The water evaporates and absorbs heat from the air, which reduces the temperature. The result is fresh, cool air.
4. Application Areas
- Rooms or areas at home where cooling is needed.
- Outdoor dining areas that need cooler air.
- Open shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and similar places.
- Outdoor events and activities where temporary cooling is required.
5. Control Panel and Remote
The control panel includes indicators for temperature display, timer, cool mode, water shortage, fan speed, sleep wind, natural wind and remote control receiving.
6. Operation Instructions
6.1 ON / OFF
- When power is connected, the buzzer sounds once and the cooler is in standby with all indicators off.
- Press ON/OFF:
- From standby: the cooler starts in cool mode at medium fan speed and the current temperature is displayed.
- While running: the cooler stops and returns to standby.
6.2 COOL Mode and Humidity Control
- Press COOL to start water circulation and evaporative cooling. The COOL indicator turns on.
- Long press COOL to enter humidity control mode where the pump cycles on and off. Typically the pump runs for about 30 minutes and rests for 30 minutes.
6.3 Airflow Adjustment
- Press SPEED to select fan speed:
- Low
- Medium
- High
6.4 Swing Function
- Press SWING to start or stop the automatic left right swing of the air outlet.
- The SWING indicator is on when the swing function is active.
6.5 Wind Types
- When the cooler is in VENT or COOL mode, press MODE to switch between:
- Standard wind
- Sleep wind
- Natural wind
- The corresponding indicator lights for the selected wind type.
6.6 Timer OFF
- With the cooler running, press TIMER. The timer indicator flashes.
- Each press increases the auto off time by 1 hour. You can set several hours of running time.
- After the selected time, the cooler will stop automatically.
6.7 Water Shortage Alarm
- If the cooler detects that there is not enough water while in COOL mode:
- The water shortage icon turns on.
- The buzzer beeps repeatedly for several seconds.
- The cooler stops to protect the pump.
- Add water to the tank before using COOL mode again.
6.8 Pre cooling Function
- In standby, press and hold COOL for about 3 seconds to enter pre cooling setting.
- Press SPEED to set how long the pump will run before the fan starts. This helps wet the pads fully for better cooling.
- Press COOL again to confirm. When the cooler starts in COOL mode it will first run the pump for the pre cooling time, then start the fan.
7. Installation and Basic Use
7.1 How to Install Wheels
- Remove the wheels from the bag. There are 2 wheels with brake and 2 wheels without brake.
- Place the cooler gently on its side.
- Align the mounting holes:
- Install the two wheels with brake on the side with the air outlet.
- Install the two wheels without brake on the opposite side near the drain.
- Make sure all wheels are firmly locked into place.
- Lift the cooler upright and check that it stands level.
7.2 How to Add Water and Drain Water
- Add water:
- Pull out the water filling cover at the bottom front or side of the unit.
- Pour clean water into the tank. Do not exceed the maximum water level mark.
- Close the cover securely.
- Drain water:
- Place a container under the drain outlet.
- Unscrew the drain nut counterclockwise.
- Let the water flow out completely, then screw the drain nut back on.
8. Filters, Cooling Pads and Cleaning
