Perfect for a quick overnight stay, Yellowfish offers “free-range camping” with access to clean communal ablutions. Safe, secure, and hassle-free – just pitch your tent, relax, and rest assured. Unfortunately, no fishing is permitted from this site, but boats are launched from the jetty for those heading out on the water.

Jules blessed us with her friendly welcome! The campsite is well managed and maintained. Our 2nd camping experience with t rooftop tent were wonderful enjoyed the private ablution and kitchen.Amazing bird and fish life, we especially enjoyed the river view and tranquility.Jules we bless you and your family in Jesus Christ Name!

A hidden gem on the route to and from Johannesburg. We needed some car parts, and the owners were very helpful; everything was arranged within an hour. It took us three days to do that. Definitely a place to return to. Everything is available in the village of Christiani.

Excellent communication via whatsapp and a warm welcome to this great campsite. Campsites and private ablution and kitchen area all neat and well maintained. Great position on the Vaal river. We wish we could stay more than one night and would love to return.

What a beautiful place on the banks of the Vaal River. The hosts, Basil, Jules and their sons, were absolutely amazing and very helpful. On our first night my husband getting sick and the hosts were absolutely helpful and we were feeling like a family. What a wonderful place to relax and everything we're clean. We will be back definitely over and over again. We will recommend them as far as we could. Thank you Basil, Jules and sons.

Our stay at this campsite was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel so welcome. They were incredibly friendly, warm, and accommodating. The atmosphere of the place is both relaxing and inviting, making it the perfect escape.

The rooms are truly stunning and elegant, far beyond what you’d normally expect at a campsite. Every detail is so well thought out, blending comfort with style beautifully. It’s the perfect mix of nature and luxury.

I would highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a memorable getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

We spent the night there. For the price we paid, we expected much better. Very disappointed. Know they flooded but post they paid the money back and instead closed until they are back up to standard. Access road to the camp is very poor and not recommendable for normal vehicle or road caravan.

Beautiful campsite with shady trees right on the banks of the Vaal River. Each pitch has its own very clean showers, toilets and sinks. Very good free wifi. We made two nights out of one because we felt so comfortable. The owners are extremely nice and helpful.

Definitief a must!! Very clean, well managed camping area. Nice that you can sleep in one of their tents that's well furnished and clean, and you have your own ablutions block!

Jewel on the banks of the Vaal River. Green lawns and willow trees. Safe and well located near the N12. Perfect for quiet campers, but also for water sports enthusiasts..... motor boat, skiing, water ponies and fishing.

All is as advertised. Friendly welcome, nice surroundings, well equipped. No signage from the town to the site, you need google maps to find it.
