Cancellation Fees

  • From the time of booking to 30 days prior to the arrival date: 25%
  • 30 – 15 days prior to the arrival date: 50%
  • 14 – 0 days prior to the arrival date: 100%

Riverbend Camping Rules

  • No loud music (respect your neighbour).
  • No noise or music after 22:00.
  • Keep the premises clean.
  • No dumping of trash, including cigarette butts.
  • Please make use of the built ablution available on site.
  • No cleaning of fish in the sink.
  • No disposing of fishing equipment in the river or on the grass (especially hooks and string).
  • Do not leave boats unattended.
  • Launching of boats on owners’ own risk.
  • Entering the property is at your own risk.
  • Owners will not be held liable for loss or theft.
  • Pet owners will be held responsible for any damage caused by their pets.
  • VERY important. Please DO NOT operate any gas, butane, or charcoal stoves or appliances within your tent. This equipment uses up all the oxygen and releases poisonous gases that can lead to your death or that of a family member. These are only to be used in an area that is well-ventilated.
  • We kindly advise using solar lights or battery-operated camp lights within your sleep tent, as this is the safer option to gas lights, which emit poisonous gases and can lead to your death.
  • Fires will only be allowed at designated areas. This is a huge risk and safety hazard. This request is for your own safety and your neighbours. Thus, please consider your fellow guests.
  • Not everyone is a “happy” camper. Should there be any requirements or if you need assistance or if you are unhappy about anything, please approach us in a civilized manner, and we will gladly assist in making your stay as comfortable as possible. In the event where you have bought new equipment and are not familiar with it’s operation thereof, please ask for our assistance. We will gladly help.
  • Please familiarize yourself with the camping area upon arrival. Make sure you know where the ablution is. Make sure you know where the assembly points are.
  • Keep connection roads open to allow the flow of vehicles in and out. Please be considerate when parking your vehicle.

Pets

  • Only small pets allowed.
  • Pets to be kept on a leash or in a cage.
  • Please keep your fellow camper in mind and make sure your pets do not cause a disturbance in the camping area.
  • Owners are responsible for cleaning up behind their pets.
  • Send us a picture of your pet should you be unsure.
